Key Responsibilities

As a Security Officer, your duties will include:

• Patrolling assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of premises
• Monitoring CCTV cameras, access control points, and alarm systems
• Responding promptly and effectively to emergencies and security incidents
• Identifying, observing, and reporting suspicious behaviour or activities
• Maintaining accurate records of daily activities and incident reports
• Enforcing site rules and security procedures at all times
• Providing professional and courteous customer service to clients and visitors
• Working closely with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Valid PSiRA certification (Grade C)
• Valid South African ID
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven security experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Reliable, trustworthy, disciplined, and responsible
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required
