Key Responsibilities

As a Security Armed Response Officer at Divergent Ops, your duties may include:

• Responding rapidly to alarm activations, emergencies and security incidents.
• Providing armed protection services while following company security procedures.
• Conducting patrols and monitoring assigned areas.
• Assisting clients during emergency situations and ensuring their safety.

Minimum Requirements

• Must have a valid Code 8 driver’s licence.
• Must have at least 5 years driving experience with both automatic and manual vehicles.
• Must have valid SAPS firearm competency for handgun.
• Must have at least 5 years firearm experience.
• Must have certificates and statements of results for: Basic Firearm Proficiency, Business Purpose for handgun, Unit Standard 117705.
• Must have excellent knowledge of Nelspruit streets and surrounding areas.
• Must be able to respond quickly and effectively during emergencies.
• Must have strong communication skills and confidence using technology.
• Must have reliable transport to and from work.
