Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises
• Monitor and authorize the entrance of vehicles and personnel
• Detect and respond to suspicious behavior and prevent criminal activities (theft, vandalism, etc.)
• Maintain the security of the premises, including doors, exits, and windowsInvestigate disturbances and respond to alarms
• Submit daily security reports and incident documentation
• Assist with emergency situations, providing aid and detaining perpetrators when necessary

Minimum Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• PSIRA Grade C certification
• Diploma in Security Management or equivalent (advantageous)
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
• Registered as a Security Officer
• Experience & Competencies Required
• At least 2 years of experience as a security officer or guard
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and legal guidelines
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• First Aid/BLS trained
• Self-defense and physical fitness
• Good communication skills and the ability to maintain a strong presence
