Parsons Transport is currently hiring disciplined, alert, and responsible Security Guards to strengthen its on-site security operations in Witbank, Mpumalanga. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a strong security background, excellent discipline, and the ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining strict access control, monitoring premises, enforcing company policies, and ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and assets at all times. Parsons Transport is looking for security professionals who take their duties seriously and understand the importance of vigilance, punctuality, and adherence to instructions.
This role requires a PSIRA Grade C (minimum) and individuals who live within a reasonable distance from the site in Witbank. Immediate availability will be a strong advantage.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Strict access control of all vehicles, staff, and visitors
- Continuous monitoring and regular patrols of the premises
- Immediate reporting of incidents, breaches, or suspicious activity
- Enforcing company policies, safety rules, and site instructions
- Following lawful instructions from management at all times
- Maintaining a high standard of professionalism while on duty
Minimum Requirements
- Valid PSIRA Grade C certificate (minimum)
- Proven security experience (advantageous)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Clear communication and basic report-writing skills
- High level of discipline, reliability, and punctuality
- Zero tolerance for negligence, sleeping on duty, or abandonment of post
- Must reside in Witbank or nearby areas
