✅ Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet ALL of the following:
- Valid PSIRA registration
- Previous experience working security at mining sites
- Valid weapons competencies (All)
- Minimum Grade 10 qualification
- Driver’s License (EB / C1 / EC)
- Medically fit and physically capable
- Good communication skills
- Professional and disciplined conduct
Candidates from local communities with valid credentials will receive preference.
✅ Key Duties & Responsibilities
Selected officers will handle:
- Access control and entry management
- Vehicle and visitor checks
- Surveillance and site monitoring
- Conducting regular patrols
- Reporting and incident documentation
- Emergency response and safety procedures
- Maintaining order and compliance with mine regulations
- Assisting with mine induction training
This role requires alertness, reliability, and teamwork, as safety is critical in a mining environment.
