About the Role
Icebolethu Group’s Security Department is looking for 3 experienced Security Officers to maintain the safety and security of the premises. The ideal candidates will have the skills to patrol, monitor, and manage security threats, ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and the company’s property.
This role is perfect for candidates who are well-trained in surveillance, security protocols, and have the ability to respond to incidents swiftly and appropriately.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises
- Monitor and authorize the entrance of vehicles and personnel
- Detect and respond to suspicious behavior and prevent criminal activities (theft, vandalism, etc.)
- Maintain the security of the premises, including doors, exits, and windowsInvestigate disturbances and respond to alarms
- Submit daily security reports and incident documentation
- Assist with emergency situations, providing aid and detaining perpetrators when necessary
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- PSIRA Grade C certification
- Diploma in Security Management or equivalent (advantageous)
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Registered as a Security Officer
- Experience & Competencies Required
- At least 2 years of experience as a security officer or guard
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and legal guidelines
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- First Aid/BLS trained
- Self-defense and physical fitness
- Good communication skills and the ability to maintain a strong presence
