Key Responsibilities
As a successful candidate, you will be expected to:
- Safely operate a 34-ton side tipper truck.
- Transport loads to mines, depots, construction sites, and customer locations.
- Load and offload materials when required.
- Complete trip sheets, delivery notes, and vehicle inspection reports accurately.
- Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections.
- Follow all road traffic regulations and company safety procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the assigned vehicle.
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing TABS Group professionally.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Valid Code 14 Driver’s Licence.
- Valid PrDP (Goods).
- 3–5 years of experience driving heavy-duty trucks.
- Previous side tipper experience will be an added advantage.
- Proven ability to travel long distances safely.
- Knowledge of road safety legislation and mine site procedures.
- Ability to operate side tipper hydraulic systems safely and efficiently.
Additional Requirements
Candidates with the following qualifications will receive preference:
- Dangerous Goods Permit (DGP).
- Hazchem Certificate.
