Key Duties and Responsibilities
Successful applicants may be responsible for:
- Controlling access and exit points at SA Metal properties and ensuring that the necessary registers are completed.
- Operating gates and ensuring that access procedures are followed correctly.
- Searching pedestrians, vehicles and personal belongings when required.
- Ensuring customers and visitors receive the required PPE when entering operational areas and return it after their visit.
- Checking that goods or other items leaving the premises have the correct supporting documentation.
- Following company procedures before allowing employees and visitors access to restricted areas.
- Conducting regular patrols of assigned areas.
- Monitoring the premises and reporting suspicious behaviour or security concerns.
- Keeping the Incident Report Book accurate and up to date.
- Ensuring containers and bins entering or leaving the premises are correctly recorded and secured.
- Helping protect SA Metal Group’s property, equipment, assets, employees and visitors.
Minimum Requirements
